Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, October 23, 2013 – InternetNow are committed to initiatives in improving the quality of software development students produced locally. Hence it was only natural for InternetNow director, Ilyas Sapiyan, to recently accept the invitation to become an Industry Advisor (IA) at Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR).

On 4 October he joined a small group of other industry figures in the field of engineering, architecture, finance etc to attend the 2013 UTAR Industry Advisory Panel.

It was indeed a very productive day with constructive discussion taking place with suggestions on how to make the UTAR courses more relevant to industry today.

Specifically to the software engineering course, more focus on the techniques and tools of today’s software development field was suggested.

InternetNow always welcome opportunities for collaboration with the academia.
