Many websites today can also be accessed using HTTPS (apart from just the standard HTTP). This actually poses a problem to many IT administrators because this can be used by users to bypass existing website filters. Many website filters struggle with HTTPS because it is an encrypted channel.

You should try to see if you can bypass your corporate website filter by accessing https://www.facebook.com for example.

In this update, we have added Facebook, YouTube and Twitter to our application control feature. This allows easy blocking of these 3 sites even if the users try to use HTTPS to access them.

This update comes with a new antispam engine with the ability to detect infomails. Infomails are basically annoying newsletters. In Malaysia, the common ones include training courses, group buying and social network newsletters. While many of these are not hardcore spams and originate from legal business entities, they have started to inundate our mailboxes.

So upgrade to this version today and we will start filtering all these infomails for you.

Also available in this update is the image preview feature. So if you receive mails with multiple image attachments you can quickly see them in thumbnails form before you decide which to download.
